The Catholic Foundation for Greater Pittsburgh seeks a mission-driven and relationship-focused Director of Planned Giving to lead and grow the Foundation’s planned giving and major gift efforts. The Planned Giving Officer will cultivate and manage a portfolio of donors, invite legacy and estate gifts, steward long-term relationships, and serve as a key philanthropic partner to parishes, schools, and diocesan ministries.
A component of the role is leading the stewardship, recognition, and engagement strategy for the Foundation’s Legacy Society, ensuring that all individuals who have made planned or estate commitments feel valued, informed, and connected to the mission they support.
The Director of Development & Donor Relations is a senior development leader responsible for major gifts strategy and execution, donor relations and stewardship, and partnering across the Foundation to elevate a best‑in‑class donor experience. The Director manages a focused portfolio of mid‑ and major‑gift prospects and donors; leads cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies; and drives donor communications and recognition programs. The Director collaborates closely with the Planned Giving Officer to align donor journeys and messaging, ensuring seamless coordination on legacy and endowment opportunities (the Planned Giving Officer leads the planned giving program).
The Director of Advancement Systems is responsible for overseeing all advancement operations, database management, gift processing integrity, reporting systems, and workflow optimization that support fundraising, donor stewardship, and financial accountability at the Foundation.
The Administrative Assistant/Data Entry position provides high-level administrative, logistical, and clerical support to the Executive Director and assists with operations of the Catholic Foundation. This includes preparation for board and committee meetings, scheduling and calendar management, event coordination, document preparation, and general office support.
Provides maintenance and repair service to buildings, facilities and property including semi-skilled carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and other minor repair work. May also perform specialized functions regarding equipment operations and boiler maintenance.
