The Lay Evangelization and Outreach (L.E.O.) Fund is a new scholarship opportunity for Lay Ministers in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. The L.E.O. Fund provides monies to form, equip, and sustain lay leaders and adolescents in the Diocese of Pittsburgh who serve in evangelization, formation, pastoral care, and discipleship.
Graduate Scholarships for Lay Ecclesial Ministers: Graduate degree and professional certificate scholarships are available to lay ecclesial ministers employed by a parish within the Diocese of Pittsburgh as well as diocesan pastoral center employees.
Conference & Formation Scholarships: Scholarships are available to Lay Ecclesial Ministers, catechists, youth ministry core team members, OCIA team members, and diocesan pastoral staff to assist with the cost of Catholic conferences, retreats, and formation opportunities.
Adolescent Conference Scholarships: Scholarships are available to parishes for adolescents in grades nine through twelve to attend regional and national conferences.
Parish-Based Programming Grants: Grants are available to parishes within the Diocese of Pittsburgh of up to $1,000 to support evangelization, discipleship, and adult faith formation initiatives.
