Using a variety of techniques employed by Montessori educators - some tried and true, and others new and innovative - participants will come away with methods of teaching Peace Education that they can implement in the classroom for years to come. Guest Speaker: Stephanie Lapine
Stephanie Lapine discovered the writings of Dr. Maria Montessori when her first child was born three decades ago. Since then, Stephanie has taught the Montessori method to children from the ages of three through twelve in private, public, and homeschool settings. In addition to teaching children, Stephanie is also a Montessori trainer for educators earning their Montessori certification. When not teaching or reading all things Montessori, she loves to spend time with her four children, her cats, and her garden.
