Christ the Divine Teacher Catholic Academy - Aspinwall is accepting applications for a qualified part time Pre-Kindergarten aide for the 2025-26 school year. This is an hourly position of 20/hours per week during the school year. 

 Primary Responsibilities: 

• Support the teacher in implementing daily lessons, activities, and classroom routines that align with the Catholic mission and diocesan and regional standards. 
•  Assist with classroom management by helping maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing environment that promotes learning and positive behavior.
• Work directly with students in small groups or one-on-one to reinforce instruction, encourage participation, and support individual needs. 
• Help with daily tasks such as preparing materials, organizing supplies, supervising transitions, and assisting with meals, and hygiene routines.  
• Foster strong communication and collaboration with the teacher, school staff, and parents to ensure consistency and support for every child.  
• Work cohesively as a member of a team.  

 
 Qualifications:  

• Associate’s Degree in Education, Child Development, or a Related Field  
• Strong Understanding of Child Development, Classroom Management, and Best Practices  
• Ability to Work Cohesively as a Member of a Team  
• Demonstrated flexibility and Ability to work in a High-Paced Environment
• Love of Children, Teaching, and Learning  
• Prior Successful Experience Working with Early Learners (preferred)
