Parish catechetical leaders attended a Summer Communities of Practice gathering.

Parish catechetical leaders came together at the Pastoral Center on Tuesday, August 19 for a Summer Communities of Practice gathering. 

The leaders shared challenges and best practices, as well as to deepened their own formation. This gathering offered a retreat atmosphere for busy leaders preparing for the new catechetical year. 

Led by Celine Mitchell, a veteran formation leader and founding president of the CGS Apostolate Center, leaders came away refreshed. Mitchell led the group in reflecting on the Infancy Narratives of Scripture through the lens of a question: As we proclaim the kingdom of God, what is our mission?
