Equipping Catechists for the new school year

On Thursday, August 21, parish catechetical leaders and volunteer parish catechists came together for an evening of formation: “Living Peace: Creating Cultures of Respect in the Classroom." The event aimed to equip catechists with classroom management strategies grounded in positive discipline and the dignity of the child. The evening was led by Stephanie Lapine, a Montessori formation leader and educator with over 30 years of experience. Catechists and leaders who use a variety of formation modalities spoke to the usefulness and beauty of the evening’s content
