Bishop Mark A. Eckman, Bishop of Pittsburgh, is making the announcement of the following clergy appointments: 
 
CHAPLAINS
 
The Reverend Mark L. Thomas is appointed Chaplain (Part-time) to the faculty and students at Robert Morris University, Moon Township, effective August 11, 2026.  Father Thomas maintains his responsibilities as Administrator of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, Coraopolis/Crescent/Moon.
 
LEAVE OF ABSENCE
 
The Reverend Daniel R. Waruzewski has been relieved of his assignment as Parochial Vicar at Saints Martha and Mary Parish, Hampton/Richland, and has been granted a leave of absence for health reasons effective August 14, 2026.
 
RELEASED FROM ASSIGNMENT
 
At his request, Reverend Samuel J. Esposito is relieved of his responsibilities as part-time consultant to the Secretariat for Parish Services effective October 1, 2026.  Father Esposito remains Chaplain to the Felician Sisters.
