Saint Wendelin School is seeking a dedicated and organized full-time Front Office School Secretary to manage day-to-day front office operations and serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors. This role supports the mission of Saint Wendelin by fostering a welcoming environment rooted in Christian values, while ensuring smooth communication and administrative efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Reception & Communication
Greet all visitors, students, and staff with a warm and professional demeanor.
Answer incoming calls and emails, direct inquiries appropriately, and relay messages promptly.
Act as liaison between parents, teachers, and administration.
Administrative Support
Manage student attendance records, tardy/early dismissal logs, and daily announcements.
Prepare school correspondence, memos, newsletters, and parent communications.
Maintain the principal’s calendar and assist in scheduling meetings and appointments.
Support teachers and staff with copying, filing, and basic clerical tasks.
Records & Data Entry
Update and maintain student records in the Student Information System (SIS).
Process enrollment and withdrawal paperwork and assist with student registration.
Track immunizations, emergency contacts, and student medical information per school policy.
Office Management
Maintain inventory and order supplies for the front office and staff as needed.
Distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Ensure the front office is clean, welcoming, and organized at all times.
School Community Support
Assist with preparation and logistics for school events, Masses, and special programs.
Uphold and reflect the Catholic mission and values of Saint Wendelin School in daily interactions.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
Previous experience in a school or office environment strongly preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and SIS platforms.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

Working Conditions:
Year-round position with occasional evening or weekend duties for events.
Office-based role with frequent interaction with children and families.
Must be able to sit, stand, and use office equipment for extended periods.
