SRCES Mother of Mercy Academy is seeking an After-School Care Director Monday through Friday 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm
Job Summary: The Director works closely with the principal to provide students with high-quality learning experiences. Develop and refine the structure of the programs based on the strategic initiatives of the schools and students’ needs and interests. Ensures compliance with state and regional regulations and evaluates the effectiveness of programming for continuous improvement efforts.
Duties:
Process the billing of each family on a weekly basis
Maintain a schedule of assistant(s)
Maintain state guidelines
Pass out an after-school snack
Record the pick-up time of each parent/guardian for each individual child
Supervise play
Tidy and clean up the room at the end of each night
Other duties to be assigned by the school principal
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Completed safe environment training, background check, and all diocesan clearances.
Previous experience (preferred)
Valid PA Driver's License
Job Requirements:
Friendly, energetic, and nurturing personality
Must be at least 21 years of age
Ability to compose daily schedules and routines for children ● Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
Ability to work with technology ● Use of FACTS mgt (preferred)
Ability to work with children ages 4 and up
Ability to communicate with co-workers and parents
