DePaul School for Hearing and Speech, a small nonprofit private school in Pittsburgh’s Shadyside neighborhood, is seeking a dynamic and innovative leader to oversee fundraising, special projects, and outreach efforts that advance our mission to develop listening and spoken language skills in children who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have spoken language communication challenges.
This full-time, twelve-month position reports to the Executive Director and is ideal for an experienced development professional with a master’s degree and at least three years of experience in donor relations and nonprofit management. The Director will drive donor engagement, corporate partnerships, and marketing initiatives, using tools such as DonorPerfect to identify and cultivate giving opportunities, including building support through the EITC program.
Candidates should have strong oral and written communication skills, exceptional interpersonal and networking abilities, and a proven track record of securing major gifts or expanding donor relationships with foundations, corporations, community partners, and other stakeholders.
