Summary of Job: The Pastoral Associate for Family and Young Adult Ministries is responsible for overseeing Archangel Gabriel Parish’s ministerial efforts directly relating to adolescents (middle schoolers and high schoolers) young adults (those in their 20s and 30s), and families (those with children under 18). Subsequently, the Pastoral Associate is responsible for designing, organizing, and implementing ministries that support the human and spiritual formation of adolescents, young adults, and families with young children of the parish as disciples of Jesus Christ and as valued members of our faith community. Working primarily with volunteer teams [self-identified and recruited] the Pastoral Associate is to provide opportunities for catechesis, retreats, missionary outreach, service, growth in social justice, and socialization.
