The Catholic School Secretary plays a vital role in the school's daily operation by managing front office activities, supporting the principal, staff, students, and parents, and ensuring a welcoming and faith-centered environment. This role requires discretion, strong organizational skills, and the ability to reflect the values and mission of the Catholic Church. Preferred Qualifications: ● Administrative training and/or experience in a school or education-related environment ● Familiarity with student information systems (e.g., FACTS SIS) Required: ● HS diploma or equivalent ● Proficiency in Google (Documents, Sheets), Microsoft Office(Word, Excel, Outlook), and office equipment. ● Safe Environments for Children—As with all positions that involve contact with children in the Diocese of Pittsburgh, this ministry falls under the diocese's Safe Environment Policy, which requires clearances, i.e., criminal and child abuse history, fingerprinting, a Protecting God’s Children attendance certificate, and a signed copy of the Code of Pastoral Conduct.
